The Jackson Park Golf Association, through a platform of golf, will identify and provide accessibility, as well as viable and sustainable community resources for the underrepresented and underserved community through accomplished leadership in the multi-billion-dollar golf industry.

Caddy Training Program

Caddy Training Program

The caddy training program is designed to teach youth the skills necessary to be effective and proficient caddies. Training is six weeks and encompasses teaching the basics of caddying (e.g., tracking balls, equipment maintenance, course management, tending greens, gain work experience, and earn money during the summer. Additionally, caddies learn socialization skills, communication, customer service, teamwork, networking, time management, responsibility, self-confidence, and independence. Lastly, caddying helps develop physical activity and promotes a healthy lifestyle by walking.
